Our string teachers bring over 10 years of professional performance and teaching experience to your lessons. With their profound experience, they have developed a style of teaching that is aimed to get the best out of every student.

VIOLIN, VIOLA & CELLO

String instruments play a vital role in an orchestra. Their sounds are tender and elegant, sometimes melancholic. It is a popular choice among students. Children can start learning the violin at the age of four, with some interesting and fundamental songs. For the viola and the cello, considering their larger size and heavier weight, we recommend children to begin learning it at the age of six or above.

Learning string instruments help children to strength the flexibility of their body and the agility of their hand, which is required in using the bow. As the scale of violin is not shown as obviously as other instruments, say the piano, it is a good training for the kids to focus on listening to the sounds they played. It is a good aural training as well as their sense of music.

Our Vision

Our vision is to attend to the need and growth of children and establish musical foundation through practicing rhythm, sight-reading and aural exercises in addition to regular lessons. Teachers will adjust the lessons according to individual student, suiting their interest and let them learn in a joyful and fun environment, turning them into young maestro of music.

Comprehensive Educational Support

Other than merely focusing on the physical aspect of playing the instrument, our teachers offer fundamental knowledge on music such as music history, music genre and style from different period, and music theory for students to develop a broad sense in music. We provide 2 - 3 peer performance practices per year for each student as well to learn stage manner, develop confidence and self-recognition, and to overcome stage fright.
